"The skill-set of this finger-style guitarist's free form artistic ability combined with enthusiasm and apparent love of cultured music is showcased in a raw, live, unedited fashion.”
- Michael Billings, Los Angeles Daily Journal
Trevor Green is a versatile musician who makes use of vocals, guitar (6 and 12 string, lap slide, banjo and mandolin), didgeridoo, stompbox, and harmonica. He has been called a ‘musical breath of fresh air.’ A California native, Trevor Green grew up on the beaches of Southern California where he spent as much time riding waves as he did strumming his guitar. He began his musical journey listening to his father spin records by the likes of Pink Floyd, Neil Young, and Tom Petty & received his first acoustic guitar, from his mother, an Alvarez 12 string. As he began to write, his own musical journey emerged and Green found himself being influenced by such artists as Jimi Hendrix, The String Cheese Incident, and Michael Hedges to name a few.
In live performance, Green’s set-up resembles that of a musical playground, surrounded by his vast array of instruments. "I've always been attracted to instruments of all kinds. As time goes on I continue to collect different instruments and I try to find ways of incorporating them into my setup." Green continues; "Feeling the music throughout my entire body by playing multiple instruments simultaneously has become very meditative for me."
