Raw simplicity, potent songwriting, intensely powerful and unique voice delivering songs with conviction, attitude and message give Michelle McAfee a magnetic sound. Michelle McAfee’s music is a journey from her beginning roots in the mountains of western Colorado through her fight to be a true artist in LA and Nashville. Having left the arms of a professional songwriting career as a signed staff writer for Warner-Chappell Music and Sony Music where she learned the ropes of songwriting working with Jewel, Stan Lynch, & Jude Cole; McAfee now resides in Oregon's Williams Valley.  McAfee has just released her debut CD "Up In The Air" produced and accompanied by slide guitarist and modern roots singer-songwriter David Jacobs-Strain. Jacobs –Strain remarked, “Michelle McAfee is a truly soulful singer and guitar slinger; a new voice of the Northwest has come home.”
